The heavy fire condition required Command to ask for the second alarm upon arrival.nbspThenbsphigh heat and humidity required a third and fourth alarm to be struck by Delran Command as firefighters tried to deal with the high temperatures. divdivnbspdivdivDelran EMS established several Rehab sectors and requested Rehab to respond. Rehab 13-8 was dispatched at 1657 hrs. and Rehab 1385 and Support 1388 responded with 8 personnel.divdivUpon arrival Rehab 1385 was staged and assigned to the C side of the fire building. Due to the large amount of apparatus and large diameter hose line in the street Rehab 1385 could not get as close to the scene as is the normal practice.nbspThe company members were split upnbspand went mobile withnbspthe wheeled coolersnbspcontaining liquids buckets of water and cooling towels. Both cooling misters were setup and all folding chairs were deployed. The balance of 1385 and 1388 crews began preparing food and light snacks at 1385 and this became the fourth Rehab station wherenbsppersonnel could respondnbspand get something to eat and drink. divdivnbspdivdivDue to the large number of personnel on the scene Support 1388 responded to a local supermarket to restock supplies for the fireground. Rehab members distributed 450 bottles of Gatorade andnbspwater on the scenenbspprepared 240 hot dogs and 2 gallons of iced tea.nbspdivdivnbspdivdivRehab 13-8 was released from the scene at 2004 hrs. and was back in service by 2115 hrs. divdivnbspdivdivAll photo credits Lt.
