Thenbspcargo that the trucknbspwasnbspcarryingnbspwasnbspindentified asnbspa combustible liquid in thenbsphexane familynbspthat was released from containers inside the truck when it went onnbspitsnbspsidenbspon the Rt. 130 S. to Rt. 322nbspE. ramp.brbrRehab 1385nbspwith a crew of four responded to the scene through heavy traffic and was positionednbsp behind Canteen 1 from Camden County.nbspCanteennbspOnenbsphad been on scene sincenbsptheir initialnbspdispatch at 1249nbsphrs.divdivnbspdivdivLogan Township EMS had a well organized and establishednbspRehab rest and medical evaluation area and 1385 set upnbspadjacnet to their two tents. All coolers were deployed as were the chairs towels and cold water buckets. EMS had mister fans andnbspone climate controlled tent and one open tentnbspsetup as a rest area and Rehab 1385 provided cold liquidsnbspand light snack foodsnbspfor the fireground workers. Another rest area with chairs only was setup on the opposite side of Rt. 322 for firefighters to rest and cool down.brbrOfficials from Logan Township were able to provide four types of sandwiches via local outlet and supplemented our supply of Gatorade and bottled water andnbspice for thenbspduration of the incident. fireground. Both Canteennbsp1 and Rehab 1385 provided liquids and food support for the scene.brbrDuringnbspa peak period Rehab 1385 had to prepare hot foods for the incident as the originalnbspsupply ofnbspsandwichesnbspwas quickly depleted. Again Logan Township officials made a run to a local store for an additional 100 sandwiches ice and liquids tonbspkeep the coolers andnbsprehab unitsnbspstocked with adequate supplies. nbspbrbrSupport 1388 responded by request of our incident commander and a crew change and resupply was made at 2100 hrs.nbsp At 2214 hrs. Rehab 1385 wentnbspavailable from the scene and returned to station to restock and get ready for service. brbrDuring our assignment in Logan Townhip Cherry Hill Firefighters responded to two house fires back to back and went in serivce on one of those which required mutual aid and cover companies. At that time Support 1388 was prepared to respond to the Cherry Hill assignment if it went to all hands for hydration and basic support.
