For the first time in our 15 year history the Cherry Hill Fire Department Recruit Class 16-24 visited our quarters for an orientation tour and lunch. All 7 recruits were given a tour of all rehab apparatus, our capabilities and equipment.
After the tours by the members of Rehab 13 the recruits class was treated to lunch, rehab style so that they would be familiar with the types of food that we serve. Apparently, the recruits all enjoyed the food as did the instructors that were supervising the class.
After the lunch the recruit firefighters utilized our quarters for tow "training" incidents involving a "heavy smoke" condition and the use of PPV to remove the smoke from the building.
It was a very positive experience for all involved.
Good luck to the (7) new probies!!
