Hi everyone! The new year (our 14th year of continuous service) is off to a very slow start, probably the slowest in the history of Rehab 13.
The good thing is that we had a mild winter and there have been very few fires so far this calendar year. The few fires that have occurred in Camden County have been assigned to other units and we have not been dispatched .
There has been a change in the NFPA 1584 guideline that we base our rehabilitation service on that was a guideline. On January 1st, 2017 NFPA 1584 has been adopted as a
"Standard"
across the US Fire Service.
Also, the March Child Safety Seat program will take place on Friday March 10, 2017 at 0900 hrs. and continue until 1200 hrs. The location is at our Station, 985 Cropwell Road at Rabbit Run Road near Beck Middle School. No appointment needed, just pull in at the rear of the station and sound your horn to pull inside and have your child seat installed and or inspected by certified members of the New Jersey State Police, Cooper University Hospital, and the Cherry Hill Fire Department.
There is no charge for the service.
